Tax help is available to area residents at the Beaverdale Public Library.

For over 20 years, the IRS, through the VITA program, has provided free income tax help to people of lower income, senior citizens and handicapped individuals of Pennsylvania at the Beaverdale Library.

Help will be provided on federal, state and local returns, including property tax and rent rebate forms.

Starting Tuesday, February 7th – and ending on Thursday, April 13th , taxes will be done by appointment only. To make an appointment, please call the Library at (814)487-7742.

Individuals should bring last year’s tax returns.

This is a free service; however, if you wish to give a donation to the library, it would be greatly appreciated.
