Join the Johnstown Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) in cooperation with local libraries and independent bookstores for a series of book discussions focusing on the experiences of women during the Holocaust. The libraries and stores will host structured discussions on a handful of selected readings, as well as a selection of book displays highlighting women in the Holocaust. The discussions are part of AAUW’s participation in “Hope Springs Eternal: the Holocaust Project.”
“Hope Springs Eternal: the Holocaust Project” is a collaboration between local organizations aiming to bring unique education and awareness about the Holocaust to Cambria County and the surrounding areas. The project is a combined effort of organizations across the region, who are hosting a variety of events, performances, and showcases to promote Holocaust education.
