Join us in the library’s Community Room as Master Gardeners from the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Cambria County present a variety of gardening topics in this four-part series. No preregistration is required.

Topics and presenters include:

April 21: Learn seed starting techniques, including, but not limited to, using seed mats, grow lights (including fluorescent shop lights), air circulation, and winter sowing for seeds needing cold stratification. Presented by Mary Ann Efron.

April 28: All about Growing and Storing Dahlias with Ali Single.

May 5: Native plants: Is something wild missing from your garden? Learn about the benefits of planting native from Jessica Crum-Lasko.

May 19: What is a Butterfly Garden? It’s not just pretty flowers. We’ll be learning which essential plants play “host” to caterpillars, (they eat them!), and which provide nectar for their parents, the butterflies. Presented by Barbara Rosenberg.
