Have you experienced the challenges of providing care for a loved one? Caregiver University is our new support and education series designed for caregivers. Offered twice each month, Caregiver University is a friendly, encouraging environment to meet others like you for support through the challenges you’re going through. The twice-monthly sessions will be led by licensed professionals from partner agencies, including Conemaugh Regional Hospice and Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic Associates.
Caregiver University offers two group meetings per month:
- Virtual meetings will be offered on the second Wednesday each month from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Join the meeting at bit.ly/CU-virtual
- In-person meetings are held at the library on the fourth Wednesday each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The programs are free to attend, and no preregistration is required.
The initial meetings will focus on group discussions of the challenges of caregiving. Future meetings will include guest speakers, educational film screenings, and other activities. For questions about Caregiver University, please call our Reference Department at (814) 536-5131 x 210.
