The Cambria County Library System offers a wealth of digital resources available for free to library system cardholders. Click on any of the following resources to explore available content. Many of these databases are purchased by the library to enable free access for our users. As a result, you may need to enter your library card number in order to fully access each service.

Black Freedom Struggle: Primary Resources

Black Freedom Struggle resource is provided at no cost to the POWER Library by ProQuest. Black Freedom Struggle features select primary source documents related to critical people and events in African American history

Pennsylvania CareerLink Cambria County -

PA CareerLink Cambria County offers comprehensive services for job seekers. They hold a physical location within the Cambria County Library in Johnstown and also partner with other system member libraries throughout the county. You do not need to have a library card to take advantage of the multiple career services offered by the PA CareerLink.

Pennsylvania DOT Permit Practice Test

Access a free collection of Pennsylvania Driver Permit practice tests for cars, motorcycles and commercial drivers (CDL), along with driver’s handbooks and a senior citizens’ refresher test. The practice tests offer questions about fines, limits, regulations, road signs and more, with hints and detailed explanations. You’ll also find helpful information about applying for a PA license, visiting your local DMV and how to renew your PA license.

PA Photos and Docs

PA Photos & Documents is a statewide digitization service that enables the storage and retrieval of digitized collections created by libraries and other organizations throughout Pennsylvania. The primary focus is historic, cultural, and other collections of interest to the citizens of Pennsylvania.

POWER Kids and POWER Teens portals are also available with age-appropriate resources including books, movies and research documents.
