Holiday Storytimes
Holiday Storytimes are a great way to entertain kids while teaching valuable skills. Join us for one of our fun and educational in-person storytimes!
We offer classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers that focus on developing early literacy and school readiness skills. Sign-ups begin November 8th and classes will begin the week of November 15th and run through the week of December 13th. Because class sizes are limited to give children the best chance to play and explore, pre-registration is required. Sign up online or by calling the Children’s Department at (814) 536-5131 ext 205. Check our calendar for a list of days/times. New virtual storytimes will be added in the fall as well!
Playroom & Hours
It is through play that children learn how to engage and interact with the world around them. Come visit our newly renovated playroom for children five years old and under. Updates made possible by a Saver Life grant from the City of Johnstown. New hours beginning November 1st.

- Mondays: 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Fridays: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
