Solar Eclipse Glasses

Cambria County Libraries will also have limited quantities of Eclipse Glasses available for the public. Glasses will be available starting Monday, April 1. Quantities are limited to two pairs of glasses per adult, and people are encouraged to collaborate and share glasses when possible. Residents are encouraged to attend Eclipse-based programs, where libraries will have glasses to distribute to attendees. When visiting a library, residents are encouraged to sign up or renew their library card. “We see this as an opportunity to engage people who may not always visit us”, said County Coordinator Barb Mitchell. “Libraries offer much more than just books and computers, and eclipse glasses are just one of the really unique things we try to make available.”

Solar Eclipse glasses were provided by StarNET.
