Join library volunteer Karen Ligda for this meditation and crafting program. Starting June 28, students aged 6-11 will explore and practice mindfulness, or the idea of being present and aware of one’s thoughts and feelings to promote good mental health. Participants will take part in a quick mindfulness activity and then make a DIY craft based on each week’s theme. Children under 9-years-old must be accompanied by an adult guardian.*Due to space limitations, we ask that parents/guardians call 814-948-8222 to sign their children up for this storytime.
