Solar Eclipse Program

April 6 @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Each event attendee will receive a FREE pair of solar glasses (while supplies last) courtesy of the STAR Library Network.

Make a craft and enjoy eclipse activities.

You can also visit the indoor planetarium! Showtimes at 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. in the 2nd floor Playroom (the playroom will be closed for play on 4/6/24).

At 11 a.m., join retired NASA aerospace technologist Mr. Don Freeburn to learn about his career and how astronauts travelled to the moon during the Apollo missions. Mr. Freeburn will discuss the many STEM career opportunities in this field. This program is geared for kids 8 and up, teens and adults are also welcome! Mr. Freeburn’s presentation is part of the STEM Community Cafe series courtesy of PA Smart Grant and the IU8.
