A Discussion with Local Author James Gindlesperger: The Medal of Honor at Gettysburg

Join us in the Community Room as we welcome local author James Gindlesperger to discuss his new book, “The Medal of Honor at Gettysburg”.
Published by History Press, the book details the accounts of each of the 72 men who earned the Medal over the course of the Gettysburg Campaign during the Civil War.
One of the men whose story appears in the book is Charles Capehart, a native of Johnstown who earned his medal during the retreat of the Confederate army.
