All you need is love… and libraries!
Registration begins on Monday, June 12 for our annual SummerQuest activities! Visit the library to register the whole family. Children’s programs will run from July 3—July 27, and we have a ton of additional new programming throughout the summer for all ages!
A detailed schedule is coming soon, but until then, save the dates:
- Mondays in July (7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31):
Science That Serves with Dr. Jill & Dr. Matt (ages 6-12)
One session: 5:00 pm–6:30 pm - Wednesdays in July (7/5, 7/12, 7/19 & 7/26):
Pre-Schoolers with Mr. D (ages 2-5)
Two sessions: 9:30 am & 11:00 am - Thursdays in July (7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29):
Babies with Miss Vickie (ages 0-2)
Two sessions: 9:00 am & 10:30 am - Saturdays in July (7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29):
Families with special guests (all ages)
One session: 10:30 am
Sign up for our in-person events at the library starting Monday, June 12. Spaces are limited this year, so make sure to register early!
And of course, we haven’t forgotten our teens and adults. Crafty programs for teens run Tuesdays in July (7/11, 7/18, 7/25) at 4:00 pm. Adults can register for upcoming programs including trivia night and a murder mystery party!
Can’t make it to our SummerQuest events? Interested in expanding your reading horizons? We got you covered! We’ll be using Beanstack to log our reading time and explore additional activities in. Hit the reading and activity goals in Beanstack to enter to win a grand prize for each age group, including teens & adults! Beanstack registration will begin on June 16 at highland.beanstack.com, and on the Beanstack Tracker App. Kids aged 5-10 can also pick up a special Summer Badge Book to keep track of their reading goals.
