Smoke Free for Life at CCL

The Cambria County Drug Coalition will facilitate this series of smoking cessation classes, offering a group approach to stopping smoking that focuses on the needs and lifestyle of each individual. The classes will take place in the library’s Community Room.

Through the course of seven, one-hour sessions, participants will:
• Recognize the importance of quitting tobacco use
• Be provided quitting aid options based upon their individual factors
• Develop skills to manage stress
• Learn to minimize withdrawal symptoms
• Develop a “quit plan”
• Learn to recognize triggers
• Develop skills to reduce lapses
• Be around others on the road to quitting
• Have support to build a life without tobacco
