Our “Community Cafes” have focused on STEM workforce development in our area to help students learn from local residents about STEM careers in our region. This series has been made possible by a PA Smart Grant and the IU8.
So far, we’ve learned about:
• frogs and frog conservation from Aaron Capoullez with PA Woods and Forests
• 3D printing and Maker Spaces with Todd from Made in Johnstown
• being a STEM teacher, from Ms. Amanda of the Learning Lamp.
