Getting Involved
Volunteer at the Carrolltown Public Library
The Carrolltown Public Library welcomes volunteers to help with different tasks, including assisting with or providing storytime and Summerquest programs. Volunteers are also needed to help with library operations, including shelving books, cleaning, and other tasks.
Volunteers should reach out to the Carrolltown Public Library director to discuss how to help the library.
All volunteers aged 12 and older will be required to complete PATCH and Child Abuse History Clearance background checks. These clearances are free to volunteers and can be completed on the PATCH Website and the PA Child Welfare Website. In some cases, volunteers may not need to obtain federal background checks that require fingerprinting.
Carrolltown Public Library Board of Trustees
Carrolltown Public Library relies on the support of community members to help steer the vision of the library, provide fiduciary oversight, and act as stewards of the library in the community.
