Getting Involved
Volunteer at the Cresson Public Library
The Cresson Public Library welcomes volunteers to help with different tasks, including assisting with or providing storytime and Summerquest programs. Volunteers are also needed to help with library operations, including shelving books, cleaning, and other tasks.
Volunteers should reach out to the Cresson Public Library director to discuss how to help the library.
All volunteers aged 18 and older will be required to complete PATCH and Child Abuse History Clearance background checks. These clearances are free to volunteers and can be completed on the PATCH Website and the PA Child Welfare Website. In some cases, volunteers may not need to obtain federal background checks that require fingerprinting.
Presentations at the Cresson Public Library
The Cresson Public Library welcomes members of the community who have valuable knowledge or experiences to share with the Cresson community. If you would like to present on a topic at the Cresson Public Library, please call or email the library director.
Please note, the Cresson Public Library is unable to provide accommodation to persons or organizations seeking to sell items, recruit, or otherwise profit from a presentation at the library. Presentations must be free and open to all members of the community.
Book and other item donations are not accepted at Cresson Public Library.
