Support Cambria County Library

Our Donors

Cambria County Library is able to fulfill our mission because of the support and generosity of Our Donors.

Donations and Memorials

If you would like to make a donation or honor a loved one with a gift to the library, visit our Donation Page. Donations can be made to celebrate a loved one’s life, special occasion, or just to show your appreciation!

Adopt a Book

Book Adoptions are a unique and lasting gift to honor the life of a loved one, commemorate an important day or recognize a special person. You can Adopt a Book (or audiobook, DVD movie or music CD) for our collection by completing the Adopt a Book form.

Looking for information on a memorial in honor of a loved one? Visit our Book Memorials Page.

Donating Used Items

The Cambria County Library appreciates donations from the community. All items will be reviewed for possible inclusion in our collection; however, inclusion is at the discretion of the library. Items not selected may be used for a library book sale or other fundraising efforts to support our mission. Before bringing in donations, please call (814) 536-5131 to confirm acceptance.

Friends of the Cambria County Library

Are you looking to help the library and contribute to our long term success? The Friends of the Library group is always accepting new members. The group creates fundraising opportunities throughout the year, including basket raffles, lotto trees, and more. Members receive newsletters and a community of passionate bookworms! Visit the Friends of the Library page to learn more.

Volunteer at Cambria County Library

The Cambria County Library values the gift of your time and welcomes volunteers to help with library operations, including shelving books, cleaning, and other tasks. Cambria County Library does not guarantee volunteer work is available at any time. Volunteer assignments may vary.

If you are interested in volunteering at the library, fill out the form below. Additional information may be requested at a later time. You can also contact our Head of Reference at (814) 536-5131, ext 212.

All volunteers will be required to complete PATCH and Child Abuse History Clearance background checks. These clearances are free to volunteers and can be completed on the PATCH Website and the PA Child Welfare Website. Volunteers may not need to obtain federal background checks that require fingerprinting.
