Casey has always loved reading and has always dreamed of working in a library. After working as a paraprofessional for 6 years, Casey realized she needed to explore a new path in life. When the opportunity to work at Portage Public Library presented itself, she thought, why not? Casey spends a lot of her free time being a full-time fur mom of her two dogs and cat. When not at work, you can find Casey watching reruns of FRIENDS, crafting, listening to the Jonas Brothers, playing video games, watching movies, reading, baking, or spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Casey is also an advocate for mental health awareness, and she encourages you to take care of yourself. We all have our battles. Be kind to your mind and each other! 🙂
