Ongoing Programs
Portage Public Library offers a variety of programs that occur every month. A library card is encouraged but not required to participate.

Storytimes
Storytime is offered from late September – mid-May on Wednesdays at 10:30am. Registration is required, please contact the library to sign up.
LEGO Club
LEGO Club is the second Tuesday of every month from 5:30-6:30pm for ages 5-12 years. Create and invent with the Library’s classic LEGO pieces. Caregivers are required to attend. Sign up is required, please contact the library for information.
Summer Quest
The Portage Public Library participates in the state-wide Summerquest initiative. Registration is required to participate and is suggested for ages 3-8 years old. SummerQuest themes vary every year and are dedicated to encouraging learning over the summer. SummerQuest occurs in June and July and features events and reading challenges.

Our Kid’s Area
The library offers board games, fiction and nonfiction books, toys, and more.
STEM toys are available to encourage children to learn as they play. Children are welcome to enjoy our space during all library hours.
